About Fabiano
I’m Fabiano Caputo, a USPTA certified tennis coach based in Los Angeles, co-founder of Radici Court, and former Tennis Director at West Hollywood and Plummer Park. Sponsored by Dunlop.
My background includes years of coaching players of all levels, with a focus on creating a high-quality experience on and off the court. What drives me is helping players connect more deeply with their game, not just through technique, but through awareness, presence, and intention.
My approach blends technical coaching with mental training, including breathing work and meditation. I believe performance comes from the balance between body and mind, and that is where real progress happens.
I coach on my private court, offering a focused and flexible environment where each session is fully personalized.

My sessions are designed for players who want more than a standard tennis lesson. I combine technical coaching with live point play to build real consistency and confidence on court, with a strong focus on the mental side of the game.
Each session integrates breathing exercises and meditation to improve focus, manage pressure, and develop clarity during points. Lessons take place on my private court, creating a calm and focused environment with full flexibility on scheduling.
I work with players of all levels, tailoring each session to the individual. The goal is to help you perform better, stay present, and bring a higher level of awareness to your game.

Perfect! I came to Fabiano as a 2.5 player with a decent forehand and a truly elite level of self-criticism.
Two years later, my tennis has improved a lot but more importantly, I’m no longer battling my inner demons on every point… mostly because Fabiano has already identified and treated them.
He’s not just a coach. At times he feels like a mix between a tennis pro, a therapist, and someone who may or may not consult tarot cards between drills. You’ll come for the forehand, and somehow leave with better footwork, a calmer mind, and a slightly unsettling sense that he understands you on a deeper level than expected.
What makes him special is how patient, kind, and genuinely joyful he is. He creates an environment where you actually want to improve, instead of spiraling after every mistake. Which, if you’re anything like I was, is kind of a miracle.
If you’re looking for a traditional, rigid coach, this is not that. If you’re open to improving your game while quietly exorcising your on-court demons… Fabiano is your guy.- Charles is an incredibly thoughtful and coachable student. From the beginning, he brought a lot of curiosity, commitment, and self awareness to the court, which made every session rewarding. He works hard, asks great questions, and genuinely wants to improve, not just technically, but mentally as well.Fabiano's response :
One of his biggest strengths is his willingness to stay engaged through challenges. He’s developed much more confidence and composure during match play, and his consistency and shot selection have improved a lot over time. He also brings a great sense of humor and energy to lessons, which makes the experience fun and collaborative.
The main area for growth is continuing to trust himself under pressure. When he stays relaxed and present, he plays at a very high level. The more he leans into that confidence instead of overanalyzing, the more his game opens up naturally.
It’s been amazing watching his progress, both as a player and as a person.

I've been training with Fabiano for 8 months, and the difference in my game is hard to overstate. I came in with some basics, but a lot of ingrained habits were holding me back. What makes Fabiano different is his complete approach to coaching. Every session works on technique, fitness, and mental game together, not in isolation.
The technical gains have been real: cleaner groundstrokes, more reliable volleys, better body positioning throughout. My forehand in particular went from my biggest weakness to something I can genuinely rely on now.
But the bigger shift has been mental. Fabiano incorporates breathwork and mindfulness into every lesson, and it's changed how I handle pressure entirely — I'm calmer, I refocus faster, and I actually enjoy playing more. I'm now regularly playing against stronger players and holding my own, something that felt out of reach when we started.
One unexpected bonus: his court is tucked in a beautiful natural setting that makes every session feel like an escape. Highly recommend Fabiano if you want a coach who invests in your whole game.I’ve been taking lessons with Fabiano for the past few months, and it’s been one of the best coaching experiences I’ve had. He brings a good energy to every session and has a way of making the game feel both approachable and enjoyable no matter your level, mine is beginner/intermediate but have seen some more experienced players taking lessons from him.
He notices the small details in your technique and then explains adjustments in a way that clicks, aka it’s all in the hips and busts out Elvis’s dance moves. Every lesson feels intentional and personalized rather than repetitive.
Fabiano also creates a great atmosphere on court, all his ‘Andiamos’ , lol. He’s encouraging, patient, and wants his students improve.
I’d definitely recommend Fabiano to anyone looking for a coach who combines strong technical knowledge with great communication and kindness, with a little humor thrown in for good measure!I highly recommend Fabiano Caputo as a tennis coach. I have trained, studied, and known Fabiano for five years. I started lessons with him when I was a complete beginner, and he taught me the fundamentals—he taught me how to play. Now, I am taking private coaching lessons with him, and we are working on the mental game, technique, specifics, and breath work to help the mind and physical game. This way of working is producing incredible results for me. I have improved more in a few months of private lessons with Fabiano than I have in some years of playing. I have a lot to learn, and Fabiano is teaching me many facets of playing as well as mental work, which helps me on and off the court. Fabiano is deeply passionate about tennis and coaching. This is a way for him and for students. He has built a tennis training program, Radici Court, which holds a philosophy that is improving my tennis and my life. I recently went on a beautiful, positive tennis retreat with Radici Court in Ojai, and the experience was one of the best of my life. There is no one else I want to train with. Fabiano can coach players of all levels and ages (I have witnessed it). He is a great player himself. His form is stellar, and he is teaching me proper technique, how to garner more power, better control, and placement. A lot is mental in tennis, as we know. Fabiano has a great way of working on the mental . He is a good person, a good human being. And I’m having a lot of fun! Playing tennis with Fabiano is the highlight of my week. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.
Fabiano is a patient, thoughtful tennis coach who does a great job diagnosing your swing and making small adjustments so everything starts to feel more natural over time. I’ve made huge progress working with him and always look forward to our lessons! I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their game, no matter their skill level.
